Education:

BA in Fine Art Painting from NCAD, achieving Honours Degree 2-1 in 2012.

Successfully completed year one of an MFA in NCAD and currently completing year two .

Training in Authentic Movement with Joan Davies, in Gorsehill, Graystones, from 2006 to 2007.

Completed a six month training Course: Approaches To Arts in The Community,at DKIT, Dundalk in 2000.

Completed FETAC Course in Fine Art at Larkin Community School, Dublin in 1992 to 1994.

Diplomas in Counselling (IICH) and Yoga Teaching (IYA) in Dublin from 1984 to 1989.

Language training, from 1979 to 1983, Achieving High Honours Diplomas in English and translation from and into Italian, Spanish and English from The Escuela de Idiomas de Madrid and The Cambridge School of Languages.

Primary Education in Rome, Italy and Secondary Education in Gran Canaria Spain, from 1966 to 1978, achieving the equivalent to Leaving Cert, Selectividad, in Spain.

Employment:

Teaching Yoga, Movement and Embodiment Practices in a variety of settings from 1989 to the present, including Portlaoise Prison from 1994 to 1998, Women’s Aid Dundalk in 2000 and to primary, secondary and third level students both in Dublin and in Co Louth between 1990 to the present.

Training Yoga teachers on the Irish Yoga Association Teacher Training Course from 1993 to 1999.

Community Arts work in many organizations, including Arklink, an arts project for children in Fatima Mansions from 2006 to 2010.

Teaching art in disability centers including Walkinstown Association from 2007 to 2011 and in Gheel Autism Services Milltown from 2012 to the present.

Mediator at The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, from 2006 to the present.

Co-facilitating workshops in mindfulness for chronic illness sufferers with Breathworks Ireland from 2010 to the present.

Currently teaching yoga for healing at The Sanctuary, Dublin.

2014, Performance with Fiona Quilligan and Nigel Wood at Soma Contemporary in Waterford
2013, Performance in Pallas Projects as part of solo exhibition. A collaborative interaction with a dancer and a DJ was the focus of this piece which took place as part of Visit 2013.
2013, Performative Drawing as a direct response to live band, Dublin Afrobeat Ensemble, at The Twisted Pepper, Dublin.
2012 Performed with Choreographer Fiona Quilligan and Artist Kirsten Simpson at the opening of Illuminant exhibition in Dublin.
2012 Performative Drawing at The Ranelagh Arts Festival, to Live DJ Set by DJ Nigel Wood.

2011, Performative Drawing, Three hour drawing performance as a direct and uninterrupted response to the live musical performance of fifteen musicians and bands, at The Shed, Dublin.
2010 Notes From The Underworld, Shown in The Back Loft, Dublin, and In Teatro San Giovanni, Rome, in Collaboration with musician Maria Laura Ronzoni. Featured a set of projected drawings based on excerpts from Dante’s Divine Comedy as a backdrop to Maria Laura’s performance.
